OkCupid - Fart Ruins

I hope you're all having a wonderful holiday season! Due to it being the holidays I haven't been swiping as much since I'm out of town and enjoying time with friends and family. I'm not the type of person who swipes while traveling, considering I'm not looking for a random hookup. Besides, I get annoyed by people only visiting Vegas for the weekend and being on the dating apps so I'm not trying to be a hypocrite. Due to that I present a funny first message I hope you all enjoy.

Coffee Meets Bagel - Dragonborn

Surprisingly I've come across a profile that actually caught my attention! For good reason actually and not a horrifying one. I mean, the reason why is because for starters it didn't immediately attack my eyes or make me swipe left. It was something completely different! Like the guy who had remove a layer for his photos that was definitely worthwhile. This is something new and I wonder if he's just really good at photoshop or just had plenty of time to kill. Either way I wanted to share it with all of you.

I Am Married

The dating apps seem to be dead with Christmas coming up. Maybe more people are swiping, at least that's what Bumble tells me, but there's not much matching. Then after that no conversations are taking place. Guess I'm just being too picky as usual. I would say I could swipe while out of state for the holidays but that seems like a waste of time. It wouldn't actually lead to anything. So instead we have a profile that makes you do a double take and wonder what the point of dating apps are.

Tinder - Cannot Read

Currently on the dating apps my conversations aren't going very far. They aren't conversations as much as they are me asking questions and the guys refusing to say much of anything back. Saying you're in to "stuff" does not help me learn anything new about you. Thanks for being so deep. Due to this I thought I would share a funny profile since I need a good laugh.

I know it's the holidays so that means there are a ton of people traveling. I figured I'd hop on the app before my own traveling fun just in case I matched with someone. Well, turns out I did match with someone on Coffee Meets Bagel! Even more of a surprise is the guy messaged me first! Way to go Chris, you get some bonus points... for now.

Tinder - Jail Bullshit

The holiday season is upon us with Thanksgiving coming up this week so I though I would share a laugh with you. That is because I imagine most of you either are or are not dealing with your family sometime soon and you know that means things can be tense and interesting to say the least. I have a friend who has started using Tinder and she matched with a guy who wasn't a total douchebag! Surprising right? Well, let's get to the funny part.

Hinge - Satisfaction

If you follow me on Twitter then you know that I have a friend who had a very successful date using Hinge and she suggested I try it again. Well, I downloaded the Hinge app again and decided to give it a go. It has been a while since I used it but it is basically the same as Tinder and Bumble. Just another dating app. Today I came across a profile that really just wants to satisfy me, but fails to do so.

Movie Date

For those of you who follow me on Twitter you know that I recently went to a birthday party. I ended up arriving right on time, which is not the protocol because everyone ended up arriving an hour or two late. I apparently missed the memo. Since I was there on time there were only a few other people there and so to kill time we just started to random things. It passed the time and when others arrived for the party I met up with my friends and spent the rest of the evening with them. I eft the party and within a few hours I had a message on Facebook from a stranger.

Tinder - Nothing Suspicious

Today I just have another fun conversation to share with you, mostly because my next date story won't be happening until next weekend. Stay tuned for that one! So Tinder once again proves to be quite the interesting space for conversations to happen. This one is definitely not what you would expect though.

The real struggle on dating apps can be the guys who don't put anything in their profile for you to go off of. I mean, no information at all save pictures. I get being lazy, trust me I feel lazy most of the time, but come on now. Just some little bits of information will help when pictures don't help give enough helpful clues. Today we have a fun conversation that just shows how much you really can't judge a person by the pictures because on the inside they could be the complete and total opposite of you.

If I'm being quite honest I needed a little break from the dating apps. Why? It was just getting so old and frustrating. I get all the notifications of potential guys who are interested if only I swipe right on them. The problem arises when we do in fact match and they just don't talk to me at all. So today I thought it would be fun to share some of the funny conversations I've seen thanks to the internet. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Bumble - NSA Hookups

One of my friends recently broke up with her boyfriend of 4 years. Turns out the relationship wasn't as great as everyone thought it was but hey, I'm just happy she's out of it now at least. She told me that she downloaded Tinder and would keep me updated on what happens to her. I said I would be available as backup if she needed to be saved from a terrible date. I told her about Bumble but now I'm almost regretting it because i keep getting guys who are just being the worst.

Argentina Hunger Games Part 3

I still can't believe that there is even a part 3 of this story, but the two lover boys have messaged me within the last 48 hours so now I worry it may never end. Argentina Hunger Games Part 2

Argentina Hunger Games Part 1

For those of you who don't know I went traveling abroad a few months ago. I traveled through Brazil and Argentina for two weeks before settling in Buenos Aires for an additional week. I can't believe I spaced telling you all this wild story of how I had multiple guys fighting for my love and affection within an hour of meeting them. I should probably start at the beginning though because things definitely got a little bit awkward.

Travel Tuesday - New Orleans

So this post is just meant to be a general post of tips and tricks for visiting New Orleans. I'll even list some of the things I did in case they interest you. I went last month with two of my best friends to celebrate one of them earning their master's degree. It had been her dream trip so I of course was game to go since I had the time off work. I was there for a little more than a week and that was certainly more than enough time for me.

Bumble - The Dream

As I told you last week for now I'm back on Bumble just seeing what happens. I still have a notification of 50+ possible matches but no matter how much I swipe it doesn't seem to disappear. I've been chatting and matching with a few guys but sadly throughout the week they've slowly disappeared. That was expected though because as we all know at this point I don't have any sort of high hopes for these guys. Today I have a profile that makes me question why there isn't a filter to hide such a mess.

Bumble - Cilantro

Summer vacation is over so it's time to hop back on the dating apps. To be perfectly honest I uninstalled all of them to make room on my phone for all the photos I was planning to take. I did have 18,000+ photos and videos while on vacation that left my phone screaming at me for more storage space. The dating apps were all sacrificed for the cause. I regret nothing. Either way I've now reinstalled Bumble, updated my profile, and still discovered some weirdos. Some things never change.

#TravelTuesday - Going to Uruguay from Buenos Aires

While I was traveling this summer I had the thought to go visit Uruguay while I was in Argentina. I was staying in Buenos Aires, which is fairly close by, but when I researched it online (while I was there) all the information I got was completely wrong! So I thought I would share my experience and what I did to help enlighten you so you don't lose a bunch of money on a scam or anything like that while also helping you go visit another country and get a passport stamp!

I guess it is time for yet another funny profile on Tinder. Maybe some people have decided to switch up their game in order to get more attention but I fully support that to be honest. It honestly works better in my opinion because you have an instant conversation starter, at least for those who read your profile. Today we have someone who admits they were banned for life from a place, but I'm certain it's not where you're thinking.

Tinder - No Vegans

Now today's post is definitely a good laugh and if you have tried any of the dating apps or just dating in general you'll really get a kick out of it. At least I believe so. We've talked about how important it is to have a good profile, not just pictures because what you write is just as important. I mean, if you're looking for more than just a quick hookup that is. Thankfully Robyn gets it and knows how to have fun while dealing with dating apps.

Mutual - Hood Rat Thyngs

If you remember I mentioned Mutual a little while ago in a previous post that you can read here if you like. It's yet another dating app in the sea of dating apps that are currently available. Last time we had a dude who had a tub full of ramen and today we have a "white boi hood rat" in his own words. Yeah, not what I expected and yet here we are. The dating apps truly do make it so there is never a dull moment. You just have to swipe enough to find little hidden gems that make you question what you're doing.

OkCupid - Please Message Me

It has been a while since I've messed around with OkCupid but that's mostly because it never really yielded any viable matches for me. I mean, I've actually met with a few people from Bumble and Coffee Meets Bagel but OkCupid never gave me much of anything. So for kicks I decided to check out what I had on the app and you'll find that this guy really doesn't plan things out.

Bumble - Hypothetical Douchebag

Ah Bumble. Never a dull moment on that app. It's been a while since I swiped but I figured I could make another attempt just to see what I got. So today I present to you a profile of someone who I think doesn't quite know what they mean, or maybe we're all hypothetical and I'm just unaware of it.

#TravelTuesday - Yayoi Kusama Infinity Mirrored Room

Well if you've been to Vegas you know that there are sometimes different art shows and installations. Right now the Bellgaio has two installations from Yayoi Kusama that I've been dying to go to and I finally got the chance! I've heard so much about the Infinity Mirrored Room from others that I knew I had to go and experience it myself.

Mutual - Ramen Tub

I had a friend suggest I try out Mutual, which is basically a dating app for religious people (specifically mormons from what I'm told). Either way it was suggested to me so I thought I would check it out. I mean, I've tried most all of the dating apps at this point so why not add another one to the list to further prove that the apps are not all created equally. It's set up like Tinder and Bumble with the swiping left and right and a basic profile but I stumbled across a picture that was definitely new and different.

The League - Mr. F Part 3

Now if you're like me you're thinking, wait hasn't it been a while since anything has been posted about Mr. F. then you are absolutely correct! It's been a few months! Actually it's been about five month since we first met on the app and got together in person.

Travel Tuesday - Getting a Visa to Brazil

I have not yet traveled to Brazil but I am going this summer. Now, you may be thinking, then why are you writing a post about going to Brazil when you haven't gone yet? Well, if you want to go to Brazil you need a visa to get in to the country! That becomes a bit of a hassle because there are plenty of companies that want to get your visa for you but you have to pay them $250+ depending on who you use. I stumbled across a secret so I thought I'd share it with you all.

Tinder - Nightmare Fuel

I don't think we will ever get to the point of finding a guy who doesn't have a profile with pictures that are just completely ridiculous. I mean, I think it's becoming somewhat of a common trend as of late. We have to see who can have the most absurd photos that can't possibly attract anyone who is actually intrigued or interested. Or rather, they use such a ridiculous photo to see what kind of response they get. Surely someone has to be intrigued enough to at least send a message. Let's see what nonsense we're dealing with today.

Tinder - Savage

Our post today comes from someone who really is just a savage. Like, that's the best and only way I can really describe this post. Not that the guy didn't deserve such a response though. I know I'm honestly so fed up with half the messages that I get on the dating apps that it isn't even worth replying. But sometimes, one comes along that you just have to reply to and it turns out great, at least for us since we get to laugh about it.

Tinder - Didn't Hear You

Sometimes you get chatting with a guy and you think you're on the same page. I mean in the sense that there is some understanding in what could go down. I feel like some guys really can't pick up on the hints that girls are putting down though. Or just in life in general. They seem to miss a lot, even when you feel like you're being blatantly obvious. Today we have a guy who could't take a hint, so some yelling was involved to try to make things happen.

Tinder - Farting Tits

You ever have a message on Tinder that haunts you years later? No? Well, it's definitely a thing because you're about to read it. Today we have a guy who just makes things both weird and awkward. There's no true way to respond. Every time I think we've hit the limit for how stupid a message can be a guy just finds a way to be even worse. Is all hope lost? I don't know for sure yet but we're definitely getting there.

OkCupid - Sugar Daddy

You know, sometimes you just get a message that makes you question why you even bother using dating apps in the first place. Like sure, you have the possibility of meeting someone and falling in love but at what cost? You definitely have to go through a lot of toads, or even worse than that, to hopefully find a prince if that's possible. Today we have a guy who has a kind offer thanks AwkoTacoDates so let's see what we have.

Bumble - "Devil"

As we all know I get a good laugh out of guys who post their profile on a dating app and just share a lot. Or that just think they are super funny. Today we have someone who shares just enough to make it easy to decide whether to swipe left or right on them. I mean, I can't truly complain because it definitely helps to save me some time.

Tinder - I'll Allow It

2018 Year In Review

Well I realize that it is all ready the new year but I figured I could do a review post like I did last year. It's wild to think that this blog is still alive and well. It's not going to be anything fancy but I figured I'd just give a fun update like I did last year. I know I was gone for three months once more this summer and dates were few and far between but there were plenty of interesting and funny conversations.
