OkCupid - Are My Settings Correct?

Now I can easily see the pictures of people who message me and even though it's a tiny snapshot in a small circular bubble I was a little confused when I saw a picture that was obviously a mirror selfie with the face cut off. I was a bit concerned when I noticed that they seemed to be wearing an outfit I would expect to see on a woman. I thought this was going to be a repeat of that one guy I had when I first joined. Let me explain.

This is a woman. I know it's a woman. I clicked her profile. She has her interests setting on men as do I, which I triple checked to make sure I hadn't done something wrong or messed things up. She's a nurse and obviously leads a productive life from what information she's provided about herself. I'm honestly just a bit confused. Has OkCupid introduced a method of finding a new BFF like Bumble has attempted? I figured it wouldn't hurt to message her back but I just haven't heard anything just yet. If anything I will keep you all posted with what exactly is going on. It wouldn't hurt to find a new friend but I am honestly still just confused. What do you think?
