#Travel Tuesday - Bryce Canyon National Park

I apologize for this post taking a little while because I sort of broke Dropbox and every time I tried to load it on my laptop it crashed immediately. That meant I didn't have access to my photos, except on my phone. Please keep in mind though I have more than 15,000 photos on my phone so trying to sort through them all and make folders is never fun. Anyway, let's get back to the fun part of this post! Thank you all on Twitter who even expressed an interest in reading this sort of post. I went to Bryce Canyon for the three day weekend so I'd like to share with you what I did and where I hiked. Especially since I have

Travel Tuesday - New Orleans

So this post is just meant to be a general post of tips and tricks for visiting New Orleans. I'll even list some of the things I did in case they interest you. I went last month with two of my best friends to celebrate one of them earning their master's degree. It had been her dream trip so I of course was game to go since I had the time off work. I was there for a little more than a week and that was certainly more than enough time for me.

#TravelTuesday - Going to Uruguay from Buenos Aires

While I was traveling this summer I had the thought to go visit Uruguay while I was in Argentina. I was staying in Buenos Aires, which is fairly close by, but when I researched it online (while I was there) all the information I got was completely wrong! So I thought I would share my experience and what I did to help enlighten you so you don't lose a bunch of money on a scam or anything like that while also helping you go visit another country and get a passport stamp!

#TravelTuesday - Yayoi Kusama Infinity Mirrored Room

Well if you've been to Vegas you know that there are sometimes different art shows and installations. Right now the Bellgaio has two installations from Yayoi Kusama that I've been dying to go to and I finally got the chance! I've heard so much about the Infinity Mirrored Room from others that I knew I had to go and experience it myself.

Travel Tuesday - Getting a Visa to Brazil

I have not yet traveled to Brazil but I am going this summer. Now, you may be thinking, then why are you writing a post about going to Brazil when you haven't gone yet? Well, if you want to go to Brazil you need a visa to get in to the country! That becomes a bit of a hassle because there are plenty of companies that want to get your visa for you but you have to pay them $250+ depending on who you use. I stumbled across a secret so I thought I'd share it with you all.

Travel Tuesday - Seattle Underground Tour

Did you know that present day Seattle is built on top of the previous city? I know that I didn't! Kind of strange to think that though, right? Well, when you learn the history about Seattle it all slowly starts to make sense. I went on a tour of the underground city that still has remnants to this day, including skylights from present day sidewalks lighting the way. I thought I'd share a little of what I experienced so that you could try it out for yourself!

Hiking Hualapai Mountains

I always said I would do hiking posts on this blog and now it is happening! It has only taken me almost forever but thank you to everyone on Twitter who voted in the poll I put up. So for these hiking posts I think if anything you can always expect pictures. Be sure to let me know in the comments if there's anything else you think I should include about the hikes. Now, let's get to the hike!

Bellagio Fall Gardens 2017

This is my attempt to participate in Blogtober. No, I won't be posting every single day because that's just a little too much. Besides, my wifi is still on the fritz so I can't do much of anything. Instead I'm going to try and have a blog post every Wednesday and Sunday. If I'm luck I'll make it a habit thanks to Blogtober and it is something you can all expect each week! This post is all about the Bellagio flower garden this season. The hotel/casino always decorates for each season and now that fall is here they have really outdone themselves.

8 Things to Know Before Traveling to Cambodia

I traveled to the wonderful country of Cambodia this summer and visited Angkor Wat! I spent most of my time in Siem Reap, which is actually the 6th smallest city in the country, but I can't wait to return to explore even more. There's always more of a country to see than just one city or one major tourist destination. There was a lot to learn upon arrival so I thought I'd share a few things you should know before traveling to Cambodia, just to help your trip run a bit smoother.

Travel Tuesday - Elephant Sanctuary Chiang Mai

One of the biggest attractions in Thailand besides seeing all the Buddha's and visiting the temples has to be riding elephants. That's come under fire with different elephants lashing out and killing tourists along with the discovery that a lot of them are mistreated in order to keep up with the tourist demand for riding them. So instead of riding elephants I decided to visit an elephant sanctuary. This is where elephants are taken when they've been rescued from their former poor conditions. Instead of riding you get to experience bathing an elephant, feeding them, and just interacting with them. Let's get on to it shall we?

Blogmas 1.2 - Something Different (Disneyland Trip)

If you follow me on Twitter then you know that I was able to go to Disneyland for a week until Christmas! It wasn't just Disneyland though as we went to Universal Studios (Wizarding World of Harry Potter) and California Adventure as well. This was definitely something different for celebrating Christmas and the holidays in general because I actually wasn't with my own family. I was with a friend and her family. Sound a bit strange? I'm sure. So let me tell you the tale that led up to this wonderful vacation/trip and what happened while there!

Blogmas 1.1 - Something New

I had planned to get a bunch of posts done during my time off at Thanksgiving but as some of you know my grandfather passed away so my time was instead spent dealing with funeral arrangements. I can't do a Blogmas post every day because that's expecting a bit much considering I work full time and then some. The plan is to do a post a week so we will see how that goes. Anyways this post is all about doing something new for Christmas! If any of you happen to be in Vegas during this month you'll want to try this for sure.

Travel Tuesday - NYC Govenor's Island

As some of you know I was able to fly out to NYC and visit an online friend for an entire week. I used Airbnb to score a place to stay, which I may post about later, and got a steal on my flight there. Hounding airline sites is always worth it, so long as you're incognito about it. Anyways today's post is going to be about Governor's Island, which I'd never heard of! Thankfully my friend Mariah suggested we visit it and rent bikes, so that's just what we did!

Travel Tuesday - Hungary

Welcome to the first Travel Tuesday post! As some of you know I spent the last two weeks in Eastern Europe so I figure I'll do one post focusing on each of the countries that I went to. Then I'll add in some more about other places I've traveled as well. I do love to spend my money seeing the world. (: Today will be all about Hungary! So let's get to it shall we?
