Bumble - End of the Line

It appears that Bumble just isn't going to work for me anymore. I get notifications to check it, because remember I've been out of the country with no service so I wasn't actively swiping, but then the app decides that there's nothing there for me. I mean, how does one run out of people? I'd love more of an explanation. You can't try to remind me to check on things when there is literally nothing to check.

That's the image I get on my screen when I click on Bumble. I'm starting to think that maybe this is a sign. Remember on OkCupid I had that random message from a girl appear and now it has me thinking about the dating apps and what all they can do. I mean, surely instead of finding a significant other you can possibly find friends. At this point it actually sounds better to me to find new friends than someone to date.

If you don't all ready know Bumble has the option to switch from looking for someone to date to looking for a BFF. Now you might think that sounds a bit sketchy but let's be honest, at this point in time I've talked to (and been ignored) by plenty of guys who were a waste of time. I'm starting to think I might have a better chance at finding a new friend rather than someone to date. It's the same set up where you swipe and look at different people who are possible matches to be your new BFF. I think I might try that and blog about it here.

Anyone interested in hearing the results if I try it? Has anyone else tried it and had any luck? Let me know!

  1. I'd be very interested to hear about your searches for a BFF, surely girls looking for a friend won't be as douchey as men looking for a mate :)
