As I mentioned before my friend has been using Bumble for the first time and showing me some of her possible matches that she has gotten. Even though she isn't in Vegas it certainly proves interesting how guys seem to be on the same page when it comes to how they decide to fill out their profiles. One would think that it is a good practice to put their best foot forward when it comes to trying to meet someone new or even possibly date them, right? Well, today Eli is showing us how not to do that.

Bumble - Knight Errant

I can not stress enough how important it is to fill in your profile and say something that is relevant about you. It helps to start a conversation because then there is something to talk about or some common ground/interests. There's always guys who put something cheesy but it is easy to do a fun spin on it. Today we have a guy who thought he was being creative by saying he was a knight in shining armor but it turns out he isn't a knight in regards to anything. Let's get to the fun conversation shall we?

Annie's Second Bumble Date!

Can you believe a second date has happened? I was in shock as well and a bit excited for my friend Annie. I mean, having some success on Bumble is always great especially when it's your first time using it. Then when you read this post you will be able to really form an opinion on things. I mean, I know I all ready know what I think about this second date so let's get to it.

Travel Tuesday - Seattle Underground Tour

Did you know that present day Seattle is built on top of the previous city? I know that I didn't! Kind of strange to think that though, right? Well, when you learn the history about Seattle it all slowly starts to make sense. I went on a tour of the underground city that still has remnants to this day, including skylights from present day sidewalks lighting the way. I thought I'd share a little of what I experienced so that you could try it out for yourself!

Annie's First Bumble Date!

I mentioned on Twitter that while up in Idaho with a friend I had them download the Bumble dating app. For the sake of this post we're going to call my friend Annie just to make things easier. Up in Idaho dating can be a bit rough apparently because Annie doesn't drink so she isn't going out to bars to meet up with guys or anything like that. Also Idaho is a pretty big state and some cities and counties can be pretty far spread out so meeting people can become more of a chance encounter. Let's get into the fun of teaching her about Bumble and how it led to a first date!

Tinder - "Dating Coach"

I always laugh when I see a profile that says they are a dating coach. Is it bad that I find it amusing that people think saying they are a dating coach means they will have a better chance of scoring a date? That clearly isn't the case as far as I'm concerned and honestly what would be the point in matching? I'm certain they wouldn't have much better tips than the ones that I give here on my blog for free. So take note dating coaches, I'm coming for your job because it really shouldn't even need to be a thing. Common sense just isn't that common.

OkCupid - 3rd Time No Charm

I've said it before and I'll say it again, people need to pay attention to profiles on dating apps. Most of the time they are quite telling in regards to whether or not a conversation needs to happen. I've seen plenty that make me immediately swipe left, no matter how attractive the person may be. Today I present to you someone who didn't quite understand that a boring first message and not paying attention to a profile proves that the third time is not always a charm.

Tinder - You've Got A Friend In Me

As I mentioned on Twitter I am visiting a friend and decided to have them download a few of the dating apps that I've been using. I was thinking that since she lives somewhere else maybe she would get different results than myself. To start off with I had her download Tinder and let's just say after a few swipers I wasn't terribly surprised by what she saw but she was definitely a bit horrified. Warning, your childhood may be ruined.

OkCupid - Papa Sloth?

Today I have to share with you a message I received that definitely stood out from the usual messages. Someone took notice of my picture with a sloth, which is slightly surprising because usually I only get comments from girls on Bumble BFF about it. Either way the guy on OKCupid decided to send me a first message in relation to the picture, which sounds good in theory, but boy once you read it I hope you see how much he failed. Please enjoy and maybe be as confused as I am.

Coffee Meets Bagel - Ain't That Shawty

It has been a while since a dating post thanks to life but boy do I have a bit of a doozy for you all today. I was on Coffee Meets Bagel because sometimes I can get a good conversation on there. The whole one possible match every 24 hours makes it a little difficult sometimes but then again if I have coffee beans to spend I can match with someone who has liked me all ready in my discovery tab. Anyways, want to meet someone who doesn't have a bright future? Here we go.
