Tinder - All Day Every Day

I really just don't understand people sometimes. I mean, to each their own when it comes to personal preferences and things like that. Some people post things that are such an automatic turnoff I don't know why they would do it. Then again they might just be not so great people or I just have very high standards. I think it might be a combination of both this time rather than just the latter. Either way let's talk about Daniel and see if "yadig" what he has going on.

I thought I was quite good at geography but when Daniel said he is from Eritrea I had to look it up because I was completely confused. I mean, obviously it's in Africa but to give you specifics it's east of Sudan and north of Ethiopia next to the Red Sea. It's not a very large country and I'm certain it's one that hasn't been talked about on tv very much. Maybe I'm just watching the wrong tv shows. Who knows? Either way I can only imagine how interesting the conversation with Daniel would be about his home country. It'd be very interesting I'm sure and all new information to me at least.

So Daniel is the father of two. That's good to know. As I've said before I don't think I could handle being with someone who has kids from a previous relationship. Even though I work with kids I just know of too many different situations where things have gone poorly because the other person causes issues. Whether that's telling the kid(s) they don't have to listen to the new partner of the parent because they aren't the actual mom/dad or just trying to sabotage the relationship all together. I've witnessed both men and women do it so it's something I would much rather avoid.

I am curious how Daniel has any money if he smokes all day every day. Wouldn't that get expensive? Especially depending on what he is smoking? It just doesn't sound like a smart life choice. I can only imagine how much he reeks along with his clothes, where he lives, and his poor children. I don't know about you but I know I can smell that scent on people when I'm just meeting them and I nearly choke because it's so gross. I literally hold my breath as long as I can just so I don't have to feel sick.

The fact that he gets along with his baby mama is slightly concerning. Ok, very concerning. The baby mama loves to have fun so that means he wants the friends with benefits to have a three way. That's just gross to me and way too much. I want no part of what would be a relationshit. No, I didn't misspell that because I can't imagine it being anything short of terrible. I'm going to quickly throw Daniel to the left. He needs to stay very far away from me along with his baby mama. Yadig?

What do you all think? Do kids from a previous relationship become something you're unsure of how to handle or are you totally game? Are you as turned off by someone who smokes or does it not bother you? Do you think he actually has any money to his name if he smokes all day every day? Also what do you make of his baby mama being into having fun? Let me know what you think in the comments below. (:

  2. He sounds a little odd to me. Loves his kids yet does nothing but smoke all day and wants benefits with a girl and his baby mama. Hell no to this!

  3. Well, at least he's honest. I mean, it's good when people are upfront about what they want. Even if what they're into seems weird, it's still better than being played. And if they like threesomes, good for them. Personally, I can't see myself dating someone with kids. I love kids and get along great with them, but I don't want any of my own. Just imagining having to fit a man into my life as it is seems so hard but a man with kids? No way. I don't even want one with a dog, since you always gotta plan everything around and I'm just not up for it. Does this make me seem like an awful person? :D And the smoking is also a persons personal decision and it's good to let people know. It's ok not to be into smokers and it's good of him to mention it. So this may sound weird but I don't think he's such a bad guy. Just in terms of being upfront and all. Clearly I would not swipe right on him. :)

  5. I guess he's being honest- what you read is what you get? Either that or he's trying to be funny but that's not my sense of humor lol. What's the thing about the baby mama?!

  6. He's telling you what he's about upfront. I'm shocked that he's being so honest. If that's not your cup of tea to have a weed smoker unemployed father as a prospective boyfriend then move on.

  11. This is the funniest thing I've read today. I can say at least he's honest and upfront. I give him kudos for letting women know what they are getting into instead of being shady.

  12. Cant say he isn't honest haha. He smokes and seems to be proud of it... weird. He clearly has sexual relations with his ''baby mama'' and I may be on my own here but I have a son and although me and his dad are together if we were to break up regardless of reason I can't imagine acting out towards his new partner because that wouldn't be teaching my son very well would it and I'm just not like that. I wouldn't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable and they would be around my son so would like them to treat him nice. I trust my partner though he's an amazing dad.... this guy just seems odd!! xxx

  13. Well at least he's honest I suppose! Haha, I found this post very entertaining - personally, I couldn't date a smoker, or someone with kids, and especially not long distance and if he has a mistress! I'm picky too, but kudos to us for having high standards :) xx Enyiie

  18. People who smoke a lot are a turn off for me. I think Daniel just wants to have some fun, he's kinda abusing Tinder.

  19. Hmmm, I must say that smoking is also a big turn-off for me, I hate it when a lad's clothing / hair / room etc. stinks of smoke, it's just nasty! I don't think I would be too bothered if I was dating someone who had kids from a previous relationship, it'd mean that I wouldn't necessarily have kids with them because they'd have a couple already, which is great for non-maternal me hahah! I don't think I'd swipe right for Daniel though!

  20. That is a rather interesting profile. Maybe he doesn't live with his kids cause his baby mama has them. Or she takes care of them. Smoking is gross. Maybe he works at a smoke shop so he can smoke all day? As for dating people with kids, I have my own children, and am being dated by someone who isn't their father so I'm not opposed. I feel like it's not something you should get into if you aren't serious. Involving kids in unstable, tumultuous relationships is never good. Expectations are much higher for sure, and you'd definitely have to deal with the ex. My situation is pretty ideal. Good thing too, cause I don't put up with crap from my ex.
